The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has approved the use of COVID vaccines for children aged 5-11. Related to this news, two important community events are planned for next week.
Puente is hosting a vaccine information session for parents of children aged 5-11 on November 10th from 6:00-7:00pm. Dr. Garcia will present vaccine-related information and be available to answer questions from caregivers. The session will be presented in Spanish with English interpretation available.

Puente is partnering with San Mateo County and LHPUSD to host a vaccine clinic on November 12th at Pescadero High School. Moderna boosters will be available from 11am-6pm and Pfizer vaccines for 5-11 year old children from 2:00pm-6:00pm. Go to https://myturn.ca.gov to sign up for an appointment.
