La Honda-Pescadero Unified School District

Transcend Education staff conducted a site visit on October 27th and 28th to support our district's implementation of the Rural School Design Program.  The purpose of the visit was to kickoff our data gathering to help us determine our "current blueprint," or how our schools are working and/or not working for our students and families. Focus groups, classroom visitations and interviews helped us gather data for our blueprint. We are mapping this data against a framework called Leaps for Equitable, 21st Century Learning.   We are conducting additional focus groups and interviews between now and November 16th. We will bring this data to Boulder, CO for our convening and continue the mapping. It is good work and brings us clarity to the redesign.
