San Mateo County has announced that construction of the new Pescadero Fire Station #59 will begin on Monday, June 15, 2026.
According to the County's announcement, the new fire station will be built adjacent to the Pescadero Middle High School campus and will provide a modern facility designed to enhance emergency response services and support the South Coast community.
As construction activities begin near the school site, La Honda-Pescadero Unified School District is sharing this information to help keep families and community members informed. The District will continue to monitor the project and communicate any information that may affect school operations, student access, or campus safety.
