Notice of Provisional Appointment

Pursuant to the Education Code §5091, the Governing Board of the La Honda-Pescadero Unified School District has made a provisional appointment to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Trustee Allison Collins.
At its meeting held on October 9, 2025, the Board of Trustees appointed Dave Meyrovich to serve as a member of the Governing Board. This appointment is provisional and shall remain in effect unless a petition calling for a special election, containing a sufficient number of valid signatures, is filed with the San Mateo County Superintendent of Schools within 30 days of the notice of this appointment.
If no such petition is filed, the appointment shall become effective and continue until the next regularly scheduled election for governing board members of the district.
