Board of Trustees Meets with PHS Class Officers! The LHPUSD Board of Education has begin regular meetings with class officers grades 9 through 12. This Advisory group was formed so the Board could have a more direct set of conversations with students about issues large and small. This first meeting featured 18 students and two Board members, and resulted in an immediate action of repairing doors in the girls bathroom, which have been problematic for a long time, but it was not until we asked, that we found out repairs could be used in that private space that we need to have as comfortable as possible for our students. Students also gave their reasons for participating in the council and commented on longer term topics these students would like to pursue in the future.
