Flex Alert restarts at PMHS this week! For students earning a D or F grade at the report card, those students must use today's Flex Block to meet with the teachers of those classes and work on a plan to repair the grade and to get the help needed to stay above a C grade, the minimum a UC or CSU will accept for a passing grade. D's still count toward graduation credit, but are not preferred.
Here is a copy of our current FLEX letter these students receive in Advisory today. The students must raise their grade significantly in order to return. to "free choice" FLEX Block. Flex is 60 minutes long once per week.

[Puente] Free Flu Vaccine Clinic: October 19th and November 9th

Seniors! Financial Aid Workshop This Week Wednesday @ 5:30 - 7:00 pm. All seniors, attending community college or a four year school, this is a required meeting for all seniors and their families! Please bring your Chromebook, and your families’ 2021 Federal Income Tax Returns, W-2 Forms, and FSA ID - this is where you will get all the help you need to get money for college!

Change in Academic Calendar- The "No School-Teacher Professional Development Day" has been moved from October 10th to October 7th.
Attention all High School students! Want to make a difference in our school? Want to have a voice in decisions that affect you? Want to make your school more fair and equitable? Join us in the District Board Room for the SACB - the Student Advisory Committee to the Board - NEXT FRIDAY, A WEEK FROM TODAY, FROM 12:10 TO 1:10 PM. SACB is open to all students grades 9-12. The agenda will include: reviewing last year’s work and suggestions, organizing to address unresolved issues, and looking ahead to work that needs student input!
