In 2018, students from Martin Elementary School in South San Francisco, California, learned about Bridges’ story and were inspired to take action. They decided to start Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day in her honor to remind those within our communities that everyone has a role to play in creating change. Pescadero Elementary students will meet at the Community Church at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 17 and walk to school together.
We love our NEW tunnel in the Pescadero Elementary Garden! Thank you Cesar and the Pescadero Educational Foundation for helping to make our school a fun place to explore and learn.

All San Mateo County evacuation orders for the South Coast were lifted today at 11:00 am. Our transportation routes to Pescadero schools through Dearborn, Loma Mar, Gazos and Cloverdale will now resume.
LHPUSD schools are open on Monday.
All three sites are outside of the evacuation areas. For safety reasons, we will not be transporting students in the evacuation zones. Contacts are being made to those impacted in the following areas:

We completed our first round of COVID testing for the school year at PES this morning. Everyone did a great job with the nose swabbing! Parents, it is very important to get your children to school on time (everyday) on our testing days, which will be each Wednesday.
No school for students on Monday, October 11. Teachers have a staff development day and students return Tuesday, October 12th.
