Bassist Ryan Trujillo is one of the San Francisco Bay Area’s most prominent working musicians and jazz educators in the Bay Area. In 2023 Trujillo’s own latin dance band Conjunto Trujillo held a series of sold out South Bay Selena Tribute concerts, paying homage to La Reina de la Música Tejana.

We have a family field trip (Let’s Explore!) planned for our LHPUSD families tomorrow (Saturday, April 6th) and have a few seats left on the bus 🚌
We are excited to have a guided tour of the Pigeon Point Lighthouse, visit the Santa Cruz Marine Sanctuary, take a nature hike and explore the tide pools at Natural Bridges State Beach 🌊
We plan to depart from Pescadero Elementary at 9:00am and return by 4:00pm. Campus will be open 7:30 AM until 5:00 PM.
Parents/guardians do not need to attend, but are welcome 😊

Ms. Pantera’s 5th graders just finished their Renaissance language arts unit that focuses on informational biographies. Students chose a person they felt embodied the Renaissance and wrote about them.
Her class has been piloting a comprehensive curriculum called CKLA that is aligned to the Science of Reading.
