While power outages continue to disrupt our school community, our schools are open! Please send your child to school even if we have no power. Our teacher are resilient and dedicated to ensuring that your child receives a quality education.

Don’t forget that the LHPUSD Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting on Thursday, September 30th to discuss workforce housing on the North Street property in Pescadero. District staff will share progress and allow a space for the community to ask questions and provide feedback to the board and district staff.

The LHPUSD Board of Trustees will hold a special session on September 30, 2021 at 6:00 pm to discuss the North Street housing initiative. District staff will present information about the initiative and engage in a community conversation.

LHPUSD Families- Mark your calendar! The next meeting of the Board of Trustees will be September 9th starting at 6:00pm. The meeting will be held via zoom. If you would like to attend, please e-mail Tami McVey at tmcvey@lhpusd.com to receive a link to the zoom meeting.

We had a fantastic first two weeks of Big Lift Inspiring Summers and Panther Camp!

We had an amazing “last day of school” celebration. Thanks to the Pescadero Educational Foundation for sponsoring a Caljumps slide, Puente for supplying the electricity, the La Honda Education Foundation for providing the popcorn 🍿 and snow cone machine and a great big thank you to Harley Farms for letting a few goats 🐐 come down to visit us! Tuvimos una celebración increíble del “último día de clases”. Gracias a la Fundación Educativa Pescadero por patrocinar un tobogán Caljumps, a Puente por suministrar la electricidad, a la Fundación Educativa La Honda por proporcionar la máquina de palomitas de maíz 🍿 y cono de nieve y un gran agradecimiento a Harley Farms por dejar que unas pocas cabras 🐐 vinieran a ¡Visítanos!

We realize this is a very different start to the school year for everyone. The LHPUSD staff is doing their best to provide learning opportunities to your child(ren). Please plan to pick up a computer and books for your Pescadero Elementary, Pescadero Middle/High School child (or drop off if you borrowed a computer for the summer) on Thursday, August 13 at Pescadero Elementary 3:00pm - 6:00 pm. The first day of school is this Friday, August 14 at 8:30 and students will start from home.
