Hip Hip Hooray…we had a triple #Someday on Earth Day 🌎 🎉
Our three elementary classrooms were surprised with a walking field trip (including a scavenger hunt) to the La Honda Creek Open Space Preserve in the morning. Throughout the remainder of the day the different classes had additional Someday surprises related to the wishes made by students.
- Mr. Kern’s class went “camping” in their classroom: building forts, telling stories by the “campfire” and enjoying delicious s'mores 🏕
- Ms. Baca’s students planted flowers 🌻 and wrote poems in honor of Earth Day.
- Ms. Miller’s students enjoyed watching “Our Great National Parks” and planted flowers as well 🌼
All students received an Earth Day inspired goodie bag to end their special day 🌟
