Phase 1 of the Transcend Rural School Design Program culminates with a community event on January 19th at 6:00pm at the Pescadero High School soccer field. Everybody is invited! Seeking to learn about the experiences and perspectives of the students and families who interact with our schools, your core team interviewed dozens of community members, surveyed students and visited classrooms. We have analyzed the information, looked for trends, and have developed a Case for Change-how can teaching and learning be more impactful in our schools? We are so excited to share this with our school community.
A series of community visits and meetings will be held prior to the January 19th event to formally invite our school community to join us at the soccer field. The core team will visit ranches and farms as well as hold zoom informational sessions for members of the Pescadero and La Honda school communities.
